Leadership Built on Community First

My ties to Nassau County run deep. Over half my life has been spent right here; I officially returned home 6 years ago and have been a proud Nassau County homeowner for the past 20 years. Family history is at our core: my grandparents established a dry cleaning business on North 3rd Street back in 1939. My mother is an FHS alumna, a tradition I followed when I graduated from the same school. My father served on the USS North Dakota during the Korean War before settling in Fernandina to start a family. He worked as an electrician at Westrock, and I am a single mother to three grown children, with two older brothers living here in Florida. Professionally, I began my career as a flight attendant in 1991 and plan to retire early next year after three decades of service. In my role as a Purser, I lead crews on major international and domestic flights. My background involves rigorous annual FAA training, emergency medical response, and specialized conflict resolution skills.
